Control Apple Health access and Underbark data
Choose the Apple Health categories you allow, review gaps before changing permissions, and export important Underbark records before a device change.
Choose Apple Health access
Underbark asks for Apple Health access so it can calculate scores and show Activity. You choose which requested categories to allow. You can review or change that access later in Apple settings.
If a category is unavailable, Underbark leaves the related gap visible instead of treating the missing value as zero.
Review a gap before changing permissions
Missing information can have several causes. The device may not have recorded it, the category may not be supported, the source may not have supplied it, or access may be unavailable. Start with the date and category shown in Underbark, then compare it with Apple Health.
Grant only the access you are comfortable using. More access does not guarantee a complete night or a score.
Export before replacing or erasing an iPhone
Apple controls device and iCloud backup and restore behaviour. If an Underbark record matters to you, create an export before replacing or erasing the iPhone instead of relying on a particular restore result.
